July 2, 2025 – I’m Greggers. I snapped a picture at Taqueria Jalisco of the flyer for the Organ Fireworks at the church at 3pm – more our style than a crowd and a late night in Kerrville at Louise Hays Park.

Our daughter, Sunny flew in from Oregon on July 2 to hang out with us for a couple of weeks.

Then we took Sunny to see Granny in San Antonio with her sister, Kes (Kes is with us in Kerrville).

Sunny helps people in Oregon when they’re in trouble. Everyone loves Sunny!

Kes helps put out wildfires all over America.

Granny taught kids how to ride and take care of horses all her life and even had a petting zoo!

Granny’s body is really old and tired now, so she hasn’t been on a horse in a very long time.

Ashleigh teaches school in the Hill Country, and her Greg keeps High School football players safe! That’s him with the arm sling. He didn’t stay safe himself. Oops.

Austin lives in the mountains in Colorado. He really wanted to be here but is very busy making photos and videos. He’s going to come home later when he can fly his drones to get even more pictures and videos of the flood recovery.

Oh yeah – we are…

Mama is Uncle Jenn because the twins just never said Aunt anyone when they were younger – everyone was Uncle something or other. Except Greggers. He’s the papa around here. Weird that he’s not Uncle Greggers, but that’s life.

Anyway. Back to July 2025
July 3rd, the day before the floods here in the Texas Hill Country – Greggers was helping his friend Bill try to figure out how to build stuff at the hospital. His dog lay on his lap and Greggers took a picture. Bill does not like pictures, so I told him I wouldn’t put it on the internet. Oops.

Bill is living on the Guadalupe river with Sage. He travels around the country in an RV building stuff! How cool is that?

Bill invited us to come to the river on a text.

On the night before the floods, July 3rd, Greggers and Bill were texting each other trying to solve all the worlds problems. Or at least the ones Bill was building. Bill thought it was going to be an interesting couple of days.
